Infant & Child CPR
Nobody wants to think about an emergency with your child. But knowing what to do in response to an emergency is important and empowering. Come learn, practice, and leave feeling calm and capable.
Feel Calm & Capable if Your Child Ever Needs Help
This is a two-hour, hands-on class for new and expecting parents and the people who help care for little ones. Bernadette Baker, an EMT and American Heart Association instructor, will walk you through what to do if a baby or child stops breathing or is choking. You’ll also cover the first aid basics that come up at home, from fevers to falls.
You’ll practice on both infant and child manikins, with instruction and feedback from Bernadette, so the steps feel familiar instead of scary. This is an informational class, not a certification course, but all information follows the latest American Heart Association guidelines.
Expecting? It’s a great one to take before baby arrives. Already have a crawler or a toddler? It’s just as useful now. Partners, grandparents, and nannies are welcome. Bring your village.
